Adna High School senior Saige Mortensen spent her senior project making a difference for animals in need at the Lewis County animal shelter. As part of Adna's senior project program, all seniors complete eight hours of community volunteering — and Saige chose to use that time collecting donations for the shelter.
Her efforts paid off in a big way. Saige delivered dog and cat food, treats, dog toys, cat litter, and cleaning supplies to the shelter, providing much-needed supplies for the animals in their care.
The shelter took to Facebook to express their gratitude, thanking Saige and "all the folks that helped her out."
Congratulations, Saige, on a project that truly makes a difference!
